A look inside
Built for an orthopaedic recovery
This environment is built around the two procedures most of our guests travel for — see what knee replacement and hip replacement at Aster Medcity actually involve, including recovery timelines and costs.
A short distance from Aster Medcity
Your SOS Med Stays accommodation sits close to Aster Medcity — [X minutes by car] — so early follow-up appointments and any unplanned hospital visits are straightforward, without a long journey while you're still recovering.
More on Aster Medcity →Room for your companion
Most people travel with someone. Your companion stays alongside you — the same room or an adjoining one — rather than in a separate arrangement elsewhere, so they're there for the parts of recovery that are easier with company.
Physiotherapy, built into your stay
Physiotherapy is arranged as part of your recovery stay, on a schedule set around what your surgical team has recommended — not an optional extra you have to seek out yourself.
An optional Ayurveda add-on
If you'd like it, an Ayurveda and wellness programme can run alongside your physiotherapy — gentle, scheduled around your recovery rather than in place of it. Entirely optional, and available to standalone Ayurveda guests too.
A day during your stay
A slow start, breakfast, then a physiotherapy session timed to how you're moving that day.
Rest, or an optional Ayurveda session if that's part of your programme. Lunch, then quiet time.
Short, gentle walking practice, often with your companion, within the accommodation's step-free areas.
Dinner, an early night — recovery runs on rest more than activity, especially in the first fortnight.
